DatingShoot's Biggest Update Yet 😳

We've been working on a new photo model for the past six months, testing it quietly with a small group of users while we ironed out the details. It's now live on every account.

The short version: photos look more like you, the realism is better, and the resolution is higher than what we shipped before.

If you're already a DatingShoot customer, you can switch to it right now from your photos page. You don't need to place a new order.

What changed

Three things shipped at the same time:

1. A new photo model with better resemblance, realism, and resolution.
2. Self-service training photos. You can swap your training photos yourself from the photos page, under "Manage My Training Photos." No support ticket.
3. Every new generation runs on the new model once you switch. That includes custom photos and regenerations on credits you already have.

What "better resemblance" means in practice

We were already running every photo through AWS Rekognition to confirm 99%+ likeness, so the floor was already pretty high. The new model improves three specific things:

• Resemblance. Jawline, eyes, expressions, the small stuff that makes a face yours. The "wait, is that actually me?" reaction goes away.
• Realism. Photos look like photos. No plastic skin, no weird hands, none of the giveaways people associate with AI.
• Resolution. Sharp at full screen on Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or anywhere else.

How to switch (existing customers)

1. Log into your account
2. Go to your photos page
3. Pick the option to use the new model
4. If you want to, update your training photos in "Manage My Training Photos"
5. Spend your remaining credits or regenerate any photo. Everything from here runs on the new model.

The photos already in your library don't change. Switching only affects what gets generated from now on.
